The genesis of our charitable organization in West Bengal is rooted in our desire to address the pressing needs of underprivileged communities in the region. We were inspired by the stories of hardship and struggle that we heard from the people living in these areas and felt compelled to take action. We believe that by providing access to education, healthcare, and other basic necessities, we can empower these communities to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for themselves. Our mission is to work alongside the local people to improve their lives and create sustainable change in their communities.

Ever since the constitution of Sreebhumi Jigeesha by some like-minded people belonging to different age groups and different sections of the society in the year 2001, our organization is working in some devoted issues of Women and Child Development, Health & Nutrition, Environment, Awareness Programs, Education in different vulnerable segments of the society in West Bengal, specially in the areas of Rajarhat (North 24 Parganas), Uluberia, Bagnan (Howrah), Ghatakpukur (South 24 Parganas), Bandel (Hooghly) and Kolkata.
